We are thrilled to introduce Mr. Bob to our IES Families!
He began as the IES Director just last week and has wasted no time in jumping in; meeting staff, students and families!
We are planning an Open House, soon, to give our families a chance to come on in and introduce themselves to Mr. Bob. In the meantime, here’s just a little bit about our new friend:
Bob Soulliere is a self stylized digital Don Quixote who believes that you can change the world through education. He grew up in Kalkaska, MI where he graduated valedictorian of his high school class and won outstanding achievement awards in Math and English.
Having gone on a mission trip, Bob dedicated his life to full-time service of others. He attended a small Bible College in Lansing, MI where he got a degree in Theology, Education, and a minor in English Literature. He has served as a youth minister, a web developer, and has spent the past 15 years in Higher Education.
Bob has held the roles of Director of Distance, Instruction, and Educational Technologies, Executive Director of University Technology Services, and National Director of Academic Technology and Library Services. He has supported schools with as few as 180 students to large systems with 20+ campuses nationwide and more than 20,000 students.
Bob Soulliere joins us from his most recent adventure as a Vice President for Academic Services and Learning Technologies and the world of Higher Education consulting. He holds a Masters of Science in Training and Development with a concentration in Management, and has begun work on his doctorate. Bob loves the color orange, Batman, board games, reading, TV and movies, and photography.
